The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Leonardo Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Vachon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Vachon having to interfere. Leonardo Onbera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Vachon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Leonardo Onbera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braulio Vachon. Naranja del Oeste's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Onbera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Teodoro Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crucecita's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Vachon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Onbera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Braulio Vachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Onbera in the 26th minute of play. Generoso Ignazio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Ignazio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Crucecita booed when Naranja del Oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Ignazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Leonel Buinton notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Naranja del Oeste's Braulio Vachon. Braulio Vachon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Crucecita's Javier Guillem got a free kick in the 35th minute. Isaac Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Teodoro Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Cordearo to make the kick off. Naranja del Oeste's Braulio Vachon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Buinton in the 52nd minute of play. If Leonardo Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Onbera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Braulio Vachon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naranja del Oeste's Rene Cordearo managed to work through Crucecita's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rene Cordearo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 71 played minutes Naranja del Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Asteri. Rene Cordearo scored 1-3 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 林超夕, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Brun in the 82nd minute of play forced Crucecita's goalkeeper 林超夕 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leonardo Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Gerardo Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Naranja del Oeste fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Crucecita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
