Ambrosio Mazuste really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Arturo Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Depo Merlo Oeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Cordara couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Mazuste kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Horacio Ishmael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depo Merlo Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Ishmael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Costante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Mazuste was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Depo Merlo Oeste's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Depo Merlo Oeste getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arturo Cordara hit a great ball. Tadeo Costante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Mazuste in the 31st minute of play. Arturo Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tadeo Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Ambrosio Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Costante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FAFA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Amadeo Monte hit a great ball. Ambrosio Mazuste blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Costante having to make a save. Arturo Cordara might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Costante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Cordara ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciriaco Ponciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Mazuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Costante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Ciriaco Ponciano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ambrosio Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depo Merlo Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Mazuste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Ongile having to interfere. When Prospero Guillelme fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Depo Merlo Oeste's protests and gave Prospero Guillelme a yellow card for diving instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Depo Merlo Oeste were victorious despite being under pressure from FAFA for much of the match.
