If Arturo Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 71st minute, Horacio Ishmael made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Gutierrez. Elena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Arturo Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depo Merlo Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Cordara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prospero Guillelme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Birila in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Ongile saved Depo Merlo Oeste from getting behind. The supporters of Elena booed when Depo Merlo Oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Gutierrez was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Arturo Cordara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arturo Cordara really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Depo Merlo Oeste's Justino Min was substituted for Prospero Guillelme. In the 90th match minute, Depo Merlo Oeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Guillelme to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Cordara in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Depo Merlo Oeste had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
