Arturo Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguita's zone, Arturo Cordara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Galoer came out of the goal and Arturo Cordara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cienaguita's Jacinto Mitxaut got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Aldo Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cienaguita's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Bertran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Ongile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Kaiet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Bertran struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Saul Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienaguita. Depo Merlo Oeste's Saul Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Kaiet in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Cienaguita's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Cordara came free, but Vladimiro Galoer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arturo Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Cienaguita's Vladimiro Galoer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Mazuste in the 63rd minute of play. Vladimiro Galoer was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Horacio Ishmael capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horacio Ishmael really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. A collision led to Cienaguita getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Victorio Lertxun hit a great ball. Jacinto Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Ambrosio Mazuste fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vladimiro Galoer, passed just outside the right post. Arturo Cordaras short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Vladimiro Galoer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Cienaguita getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mariano Quinton hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Mazuste in the 80th minute of play forced Cienaguita's goalkeeper Vladimiro Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joaquin Chuan fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienaguita's protests and gave Joaquin Chuan a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquin Chuan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Mazuste in the 81st minute of play forced Cienaguita's goalkeeper Vladimiro Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
