Spectators: 7016 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 5) Placido Birila started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Elena's Valentin Gutierrez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Elena from getting a goal against them. Ezel Lobo had several of the Elena's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Valentin Gutierrez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Enrique Olivar's late challenge caught a Machigasta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Olivar helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, Machigasta FC's Angel Lastur got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valentin Gutierrez. In the 20th minute, Roman Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Ranolfo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Nisio. Severino Nisio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Valentin Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Palos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Ezel Lobo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ezel Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Valentin Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amador Palos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezel Lobo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Gutierrez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Amador Palos struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Valentin Gutierrez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machigasta FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezel Lobo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ezel Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machigasta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezel Lobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Machigasta FC's Amador Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Amador Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Machigasta FC's goalkeeper Severino Nisio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Ranolfo. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Ezel Lobo sped through Elena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valentin Gutierrez. After a rather tough play, Machigasta FC's Eustacio Havier got a free kick in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Machigasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Ranolfo came free, but Severino Nisio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ezel Lobo made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Gutierrez. Elena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Amador Palos might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Gutierrez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amador Palos ran back to his position shaking his head.
