Araujo's Edgard Montae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Lleir in the 15th minute of play. Arroyito FC's Everardo Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Iratze in the 18th minute of play. If Santo Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Araujo got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Perutxo. Christian Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Katia in the 38th minute of play. Everardo Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Montae having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Katia made a kick off. If Santo Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Katia in the 55th minute of play forced Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Everardo Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Arroyito FC's Christian Lleir made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Montae was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Katia came free, but Everardo Asur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Arroyito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Abeitia to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Elpidio Katia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Everardo Asur. Elpidio Katia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The supporters of Arroyito FC booed when Araujo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Tello didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Araujo's zone, Jimeno Llorenc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Montae came out of the goal and Jimeno Llorenc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Alejandro Adrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alejandro Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Katia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Everardo Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Iratze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Asur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Santo Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araujo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Iratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Katia in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Asur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute, Santo Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Araujo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arroyito FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
