Elvio Umea in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgard Montae, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elvio Umea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Edgard Montae when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgard Montae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Umea in the 11th minute of play. Elvio Umea might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Montae. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elvio Umea ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Katia to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgard Montae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvio Umea's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Elvio Umea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Montae was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Jonas Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 minutes, Elvio Umea made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Araujo's Edgard Montae tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Araujo's zone, Baldomiro Procopio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Montae came out of the goal and Baldomiro Procopio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Elvio Umea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALMAFUERTE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Weather during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evelio Weather was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Baldomiro Procopio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Montae read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Elvio Umea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALMAFUERTE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ALMAFUERTE FC had played much better football throughout.
