Everardo Asur came out of the goal and Pascual Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everardo Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Favila, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes, Nicasio Abeitia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arroyito FC and the AC Brightside players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arroyito FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nicasio Abeitia hit a great ball. If Geronimo Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pascual Francis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everardo Asur having to make a save. Everardo Asur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Oxarra's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 28th match minute, Arroyito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Lleir to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AC Brightside getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Armando Oxarra hit a great ball. With his leg Everardo Asur managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when AC Brightside's Pascual Francis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Armando Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Arroyito FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Armando Oxarra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Geronimo Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Asur having to interfere. Igor Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Lleir in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Oxarra was the one to do the kick off. Everardo Asur came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by AC Brightside's Armando Oxarra. But to his dismay, Armando Oxarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Everardo Asur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Armando Oxarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arroyito FC's Everardo Asur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Pascual Francis came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the AC Brightside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Francis couldn't finish the play. Armando Oxarra struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Everardo Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Brightside. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Everardo Asur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Arroyito FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jimeno Llorenc hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Armando Oxarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Asur was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After having played for 66 minutes, Pascual Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Brightside's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Francis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascual Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Asur having to interfere. Alejandro Adrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Igor Gagriel made a huge save. The supporters of AC Brightside booed when Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Cresitobalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Semeno, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arroyito FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for AC Brightside. Andres Semeno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Everardo Asur. 2-0. Geronimo Ilazki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Ilazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arroyito FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andres Semeno was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Brightside's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to AC Brightside's Pascual Francis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Brightside had played much better football throughout.
