Constantino Gustau was slow to take the kick. During this time Azul Acero's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Constantino Gustau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A.TEMPERLEY's Arturo Flor did a great save. In the 8th minute, Ladislao Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Silban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Silban in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Flor saved C.A.TEMPERLEY from getting behind. Arturo Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Silban in the 15th minute of play. The C.A.TEMPERLEY fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when C.A.TEMPERLEY's Domingo Bixintxo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st minute Edgardo Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Etor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hermengildo Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Hermengildo Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Flor having to interfere. Domingo Bixintxo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Etor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Arturo Flor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermengildo Silban went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, C.A.TEMPERLEY's Edgardo Ekain got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Silban to strike the kick off in the second half. Apolo Etor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Domingo Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apolo Etor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Bixintxo in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of C.A.TEMPERLEY booed when Azul Acero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Prejun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Edgardo Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Etor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Constantino Gustau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Ekain in the 70th minute of play forced Azul Acero's goalkeeper Apolo Etor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Bixintxo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Etor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arturo Flor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermengildo Silban in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Azul Acero's Hermengildo Silban got a free kick in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Ekain in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Etor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermengildo Silban hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Arturo Flor was a little too slow when Hermengildo Silban got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-2. Isidro Prejun's late challenge caught a C.A.TEMPERLEY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Prejun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Azul Acero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Prejun to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Silban got free with Arturo Flor in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The C.A.TEMPERLEY supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Azul Acero's performance. The match ended with a win for Azul Acero.
