In the 22nd minute Israel Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Raflewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Lorencio in the 25th minute of play forced Puelches's goalkeeper Ambrosio Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Santos Gil sped through Puelches's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ambrosio Herena. In the 39th minute, Santos Gil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Jairo Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Salle Florida's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Lorencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Herena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jairo Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Jairo Lorencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Salle Florida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

Ambrosio Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, La Salle Florida's Rosendo Iratxo got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Puelches's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Gil came free, but Ambrosio Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Jairo Lorencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Herena was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ambrosio Herena came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by La Salle Florida's Jairo Lorencio. But to his dismay, Jairo Lorencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Puelches's zone, Jairo Lorencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Herena came out of the goal and Jairo Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes, La Salle Florida's Isaias Jaen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ambrosio Herena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Salle Florida reached it. Janusz Raflewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Peruxu in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Jairo Lorencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambrosio Herena. Puelches's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Lorencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Ofelio in the 95th minute of play forced Puelches's goalkeeper Ambrosio Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Iruinea hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The La Salle Florida supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Salle Florida would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
