The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benjamin Kinsen kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Feliciano Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Ranolfo in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Paltoroa getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Wilfredo Bizi hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, C.A.Temperley's Aquilino Papo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jairo Faro made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Atilano Santiago sent off a good shot on target. Delmar Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Feliciano Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Ranolfo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Feliciano Stephen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, C.A.Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Ixaka came free, but Feliciano Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Papo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Papo's late challenge caught a Paltoroa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Papo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Paltoroa booed when C.A.Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Papo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Atilano Santiago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paltoroa the free kick. A collision led to C.A.Temperley getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Atilano Santiago hit a great ball. If Marco Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Arnoldo Ranolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paltoroa's Jairo Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Kinsen in the 45th minute of play. Aquilino Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Faro having to interfere. After the first half Paltoroa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Papo to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes C.A.Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Santiago. When Marco Erauso fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paltoroa's protests and gave Marco Erauso a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Erauso kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Edgard Ioritz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Paltoroa's Jairo Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Papo in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Atilano Santiago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Faro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Feliciano Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Jacinto Lertxun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, C.A.Temperley's Filiberto Pacho got a free kick in the 68th minute. Paltoroa's Isidoro Ixaka got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Atilano Santiago made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Faro. Paltoroa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Papo in the 78th minute of play forced Paltoroa's goalkeeper Jairo Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Arce hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Feliciano Stephen was a little too slow when Marco Erauso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-2. After 95 played minutes Paltoroa got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Ixaka.
