In the 12th minute, Palantelén's Serafin Pelagius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Amancio Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Dacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Boca Juiniors booed when Palantelén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Urtsin having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Boca Juiniors's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Servando came free, but Ismael Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palantelén's Ignacio Urbez got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Montxo scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Jurgi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute of the match, Serafin Pelagius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ismael Jurgi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Servando in the 31st minute of play forced Boca Juiniors's goalkeeper Ismael Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Boca Juiniors getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ciriaco Orixe hit a great ball. Bernardo Montxo scored 3-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Jurgi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Palantelén's Amancio Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Oliverios in the 45th minute of play.

A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Nicanor Bastian with Nicolas Gomez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 67 minutes into the match, Boca Juiniors's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Velasco came free, but Ismael Jurgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Roque Ferrando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Urtsin was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The Boca Juiniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Jurgi should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Palantelén fully deserved thier win.
