Boca Juiniors's Ismael Jurgi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Rufio in the 12th minute of play. Roque Ferrando struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. 邓荣常 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juiniors. Ismael Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 20 played minutes Boca Juiniors got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Orixe. When Eustaquio Goyo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Saucelito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Goyo couldn't finish the play. In the 27th match minute, Boca Juiniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Dacio to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Froilan Rufio put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Jurgi. If Froilan Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ismael Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Rufio in the 44th minute of play. Ismael Jurgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Goyo in the 45th minute of the match. If Roque Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Ferrando to strike the kick off in the second half. Roque Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. 邓荣常 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Jeronimo Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Innocenzio in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Innocenzio got free with Ismael Jurgi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeronimo Innocenzio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Ismael Jurgi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Rufio in the 81st minute of play forced Boca Juiniors's goalkeeper Ismael Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Saucelito's Froilan Rufio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Rufio in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Jurgi saved Boca Juiniors from getting behind. With a little luck, Boca Juiniors's Ismael Jurgi got control of the ball when Eustaquio Goyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Goyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ismael Jurgi made a huge save.
