Genaro Locaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Rogelio Quinteros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Javier Ipar made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Erik Strömqvist in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Locaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paolo Guifre's late challenge caught a Governo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Guifre helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Santino AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Guifre. Genaro Locaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Guifre's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Santino AFC's Paolo Guifre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Locaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Governo's Genaro Locaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Guifre in the 38th minute of play. Genaro Locaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Locaio having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Guifre in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Locaio saved Governo from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Genaro Locaio was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Dante Fernandes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dante Fernandes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Dante Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Genaro Locaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Locaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Strömqvist in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Aires in the 65th minute of play forced Santino AFC's goalkeeper Javier Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Paolo Guifre sped through Governo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genaro Locaio. Paolo Guifre in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Genaro Locaio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paolo Guifre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Genaro Locaio managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Santino AFC's Paolo Guifre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Genaro Locaio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Guifre in the 90th minute. Dante Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Genaro Locaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santino AFC. Genaro Locaio made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Paolo Guifre sent off a good shot on target. Santino AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
