The supporters of La Harley booed when Circe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Guipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Rivero might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Iratze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltasar Rivero ran back to his position shaking his head. Honorato Iratze acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Manuel Charro. In the 13th minute, Circe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Melquiades Maureo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Circe's zone, Melquiades Maureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Iratze came out of the goal and Melquiades Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind La Harley's goalkeeper Fulgencio Muno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baltasar Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Melquiades Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Circe's goalkeeper Honorato Iratze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Maureo. Silverio Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 58th match minute, La Harley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. Severino Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fulgencio Muno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Silverio Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Circe's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Peru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Muno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Silverio Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Iratze came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Harley's Melquiades Maureo. But to his dismay, Melquiades Maureo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Silverio Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Muno having to interfere. Circe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
