The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Paulo Arnalt put in a rough tackle. 8 minutes into the game, one of Huracán F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Galaxy. Maximino Ikatz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomi Siivonen. 1-1. Tomi Siivonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Colon in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Clodoveo Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomi Siivonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Niguel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Galaxy's goalkeeper Fulgencio Xacintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Presebal. Justo Quintan charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Quintan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Galaxy's Justo Quintan got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Silvio Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomi Siivonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Huracán F.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Venancio Basualdo hit a great ball. Tomi Siivonen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Mellberg's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Tomi Siivonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Mellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Bartuelo in the 40th minute of play forced Huracán F.C's goalkeeper Tomi Siivonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Galaxy's Niceto Galsino got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ambrosio Orland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomi Siivonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Colon in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Txatxu was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Colon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tomi Siivonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th match minute, Huracán F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Basualdo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fulgencio Xacintu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Txatxu went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Huracán F.C's Tomi Siivonen got control of the ball when Teobaldo Colon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Natalio Txatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Xacintu was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, Huracán F.C's goalkeeper Tomi Siivonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Colon. 76 minutes into the match, Huracán F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Romero came free, but Tomi Siivonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, Huracán F.C's Natalio Txatxu made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulgencio Xacintu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natalio Txatxu took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Xacintu. Fulgencio Xacintu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The supporters of Galaxy booed when Huracán F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Huracán F.C's goalkeeper Tomi Siivonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Mellberg. Many of Galaxy's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Galaxy may have spent more time on the ball, but Huracán F.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
