In the 11th minute, Tugrul Barikhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Line team's Cristobal Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Bautista in the 18th minute of play. Cristobal Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tugrul Barikhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Line team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tigre:s goal. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Tigre. Serafin Colas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristobal Jon. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Colas in the 30th minute of play forced Line team's goalkeeper Cristobal Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Line team's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Colas came free, but Cristobal Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Bautista in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute Gilberto Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Line team's Cristobal Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Bautista in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Serafin Colas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Jon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Cristobal Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Oliverio made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Claus during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Line team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Claus to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Jon was a little too slow when Serafin Colas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. Line team's Damian Bartuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Tigre's Serafin Colas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 77thth minute of the game Augusto Oliverio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Line team's Cristobal Jon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Alfonso in the 79th minute of play forced Line team's goalkeeper Cristobal Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Line team got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Claus. In the 82nd minute, Serafin Colas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Jon. The goal made the score 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tugrul Barikhan in the 85th minute of play forced Line team's goalkeeper Cristobal Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Oliverio in the 89th minute of the match. Leonel Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Cristobal Jon made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Tugrul Barikhan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristobal Jon, passed just outside the right post. 96 minutes into the match, Line team's goalkeeper Cristobal Jon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Alfonso.
