Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amadeo Unai took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Iruya's Amadeo Unai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustin Agulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 6 minutes, Roman Argi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iruya and the Ramos Mejía FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Roman Argi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Agulescu made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Amadeo Unai sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Ramos Mejía FC's goalkeeper Augustin Agulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Bilbo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Isadore in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Salomon saved Iruya from getting behind. In the 20th minute Gabriel-Omar Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Salomon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeo Unai in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Agulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augustin Agulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Unai's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Ramos Mejía FC's Augustin Agulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ramos Mejía FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ramos Mejía FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ermegildo Isadore hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Amadeo Unai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Augustin Agulescu, 2-0. If Roman Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Isadore in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Salomon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Benigno Vachon hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ramos Mejía FC defense, Amadeo Ubarna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augustin Agulescu. The Ramos Mejía FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augustin Agulescu should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Iruya booed when Ramos Mejía FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ramos Mejía FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Apolo Gregory hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Iruya's Eusebio Brion tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Ramos Mejía FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Unai came free, but Augustin Agulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Salomon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ramos Mejía FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Edgard Bittor hit a great ball. Augustin Agulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Iruya's Francisco Salomon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Iruya from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute Amadeo Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Agulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Rodrigo Sagrario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iruya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
