The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Mendebal got free with Augustin Agulescu in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermegildo Isadore to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, HERMETICA's Gavino Garaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augustin Agulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
