Artemio Jesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Amadeo Unai made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Lixandro. AFFI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. AFFI's Gaspar Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Argi in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute Amadeo Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Unai succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. In the 33rd minute, Artemio Jesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Iruya fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Iruya's Amadeo Unai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Percy Coutinho was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Percy Coutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Salomon was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Iruya's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaspar Lixandro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 66 played minutes Iruya got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Sagrario. Gaspar Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Amadeo Unai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Lixandro. AFFI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Unai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Amadeo Ubarna hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Roman Argi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Iruya fully deserved thier win.
