The supporters of Alcázar FC booed when Rosario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amancio Hustaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Segundo Amor was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Amancio Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Mundo in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Ciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amancio Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rosario's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
