Filomeno Lain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Silbestre's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Alcázar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Palos came free, but Filomeno Lain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brete's Hector Olando was substituted for Eloy Palos. The supporters of Brete booed when Alcázar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Behe in the 17th minute of play forced Alcázar FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcázar FC's Filomeno Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Silbestre in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Seguinus in the 21st minute of play forced Alcázar FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Olando in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Dante Silbestre notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alcázar FC's Filomeno Lain. Filomeno Lain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Brete's Teodoro Edwardo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teodoro Edwardo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brete protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teodoro Edwardo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Brete getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Teodoro Edwardo hit a great ball. Teodoro Mercurio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Camilo Azevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodoro Mercurio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. Maximiliano Jerardo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Antonio Mundo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Camilo Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcázar FC. In the 47th minute, Hector Olando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Hustaz made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Alcázar FC's Moises Palos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camilo Azevedo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Alcázar FC's Moises Palos. But to his dismay, Moises Palos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 66th minute, Nicolas Behe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alcázar FC's zone, Hector Olando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Lain came out of the goal and Hector Olando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Delmar Elixio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Brete's Nunez Ugutz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 75 minutes into the match, Brete's Hector Olando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filomeno Lain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antonio Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Camilo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alcázar FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brete had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
