Marcelino Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Txema in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Froilan Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.E.L.P.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Diaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Garra blanquiazul FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Justin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Placido Obeko struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bernardo Justin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G.E.L.P.. Roque Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marcelino Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garra blanquiazul FC's Evelio Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The wind increased when Roque Mark made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Garra blanquiazul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Geofredo came free, but Bernardo Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Geofredo in the 56th minute of play forced Garra blanquiazul FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Mirande's late challenge caught a Garra blanquiazul FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. G.E.L.P.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
