But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Mark couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes of play, Palermogolicos's Sonny Hefda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Justin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Julian Bernat put in a rough tackle. In the 11th minute, Julian Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Chumo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anselmo Austin. When Sonny Hefda fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermogolicos's protests and gave Sonny Hefda a yellow card for diving instead. Sonny Hefda kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Palermogolicos got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Hefda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Hefda in the 27th minute of play forced Garra blanquiazul FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Garra blanquiazul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Hefda came free, but Bernardo Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Evelio Peruxu fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garra blanquiazul FC's protests and gave Evelio Peruxu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Garra blanquiazul FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Evelio Peruxu hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Sonny Hefda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garra blanquiazul FC's Bernardo Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Hefda in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Hefda in the 41st minute of play forced Garra blanquiazul FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Sonny Hefda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bernardo Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Hefda, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Fabio Omero's late challenge caught a Palermogolicos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Omero helped the player get up and apologised. Fabio Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Garra blanquiazul FC's Maximiliano Cordara got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sonny Hefda had several of the Garra blanquiazul FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Bernardo Justin as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Mark in the 68th minute of play forced Palermogolicos's goalkeeper Cipriano Chumo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sonny Hefda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Hefda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Sansone in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Justin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sonny Hefda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardo Justin came out and tried to block the shot, but Sonny Hefda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute, Sonny Hefda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Garra blanquiazul FC booed when Palermogolicos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Goizeder struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Cipriano Chumo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garra blanquiazul FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Palermogolicos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
