The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SPORTIVO ITALIANO's Celestino Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Myhr in the 3rd minute of play. Aurelio Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, TIGRE ETERNO's Måns Zelmerlöw got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Urbano Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Matei Albeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Lehoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, SPORTIVO ITALIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finn Myler to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Elizardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Myhr, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbano Cordaro to strike the kick off in the second half. TIGRE ETERNO's Knut Myhr managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ignacio Goyo in the 53 minute of the game. Guaberto Lehoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Barros in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Matei Albeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Lehoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Atilano Palos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SPORTIVO ITALIANO and the TIGRE ETERNO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atilano Palos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Celestino Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Cordaro in the 71st minute of play.
