Spectators: 7052 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 20) 5 minutes into the match, Santos Colas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Quico. Macapillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Colas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute of the match Eriberto Luzea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inocencio Quico skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute, Santos Colas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Quico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Santos Colas fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gorina FC's protests and gave Santos Colas a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Colas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Primitivo Ekaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Quico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Inocencio Quico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Primitivo Ekaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Medero in the 28th minute of play forced Gorina FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Celio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Macapillo's zone, Primitivo Ekaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Quico came out of the goal and Primitivo Ekaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorina FC's Santos Colas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Quico having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Primitivo Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Ekaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Quico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inocencio Quico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Colas's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Santos Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Gorina FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Ekaitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Colas got free with Inocencio Quico in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Macapillo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Orlando Gonchan hit a great ball. Santos Colas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Humberto Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Odol might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inocencio Quico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauricio Odol ran back to his position shaking his head. Inocencio Quico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Colas in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Colas got free with Inocencio Quico in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Inocencio Quico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Primitivo Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Quico having to interfere. Inocencio Quico made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Santos Colas sent off a good shot on target. The referee ignored Gorina FC's protests and gave Eriberto Luzea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, one of Gorina FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gorina FC. Severiano Oton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Quinton charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Quinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aristides Quinton hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Evelio Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Celio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Humberto Luix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Celio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Ekaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Quico having to interfere. Inocencio Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Macapillo defense, Santos Colas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inocencio Quico. The Macapillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Quico should have stopped the shot. In the 99th minute, Santos Colas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
