The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simbolar FC's Leonardo Monte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Simbolar FC from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Monte was a little too slow when Ismael Bastia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ma Yang Nan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Torres in the 11th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ismael Bastia put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leonardo Monte. After having played for 15 minutes, Lucas Rumaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zucundum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Rumaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Zucundum FC defense, Gaston Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ma Yang Nan. The Zucundum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ma Yang Nan should have stopped the shot. Gaston Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ma Yang Nan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, Zucundum FC's Lucas Rumaldo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Monte was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th match minute, Simbolar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Lore to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Zucundum FC booed when Simbolar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Aquiles Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simbolar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zucundum FC the free kick. In the 46th minute Gaston Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ma Yang Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Leonardo Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Rumaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Monte having to interfere. Gaston Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ma Yang Nan made a huge save. Gernando Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gernando Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zucundum FC's Gernando Barbosa got a free kick in the 59th minute. Zucundum FC made a substitution. Nedim Pekergin replaced Ismael Bastia. Simbolar FC's Leonardo Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedim Pekergin in the 68th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Lore kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ma Yang Nan. That made the score 3-2 in the 69 minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, one of Simbolar FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Lore got free with Ma Yang Nan in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodolfo Lertxun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Nedim Pekergin notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Simbolar FC's Leonardo Monte. Leonardo Monte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rodolfo Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nedim Pekergin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Leonardo Monte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zucundum FC. Leonardo Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Lertxun in the 93rd minute of play. Ma Yang Nan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Torres went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Zucundum FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
