Elpidio Feo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Marcial Bastiaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Silvino in the 22nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Serafin Calvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manos de Goma's Marcial Bastiaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elpidio Feo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 74 minutes of play, Ancón FC's Ernesto Silvino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Bastiaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Manos de Goma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ancón FC:s goal. Serafin Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcial Bastiaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Serafin Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ancón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Calvino couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Manos de Goma's goalkeeper Marcial Bastiaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Silvino. The Manos de Goma fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ancón FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
