An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Jatsu in the 23rd minute of play forced Manos de Goma's goalkeeper Marcial Bastiaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafino Palos in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Bastiaro saved Manos de Goma from getting behind. Leopoldo Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Marlboro FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jesus Baleren hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Marlboro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Palos to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Bastiaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Palos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Leopoldo Jatsu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marcial Bastiaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlboro FC. The Manos de Goma players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marlboro FC were winning 0-2.

Leopoldo Jatsu came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcial Bastiaro could save by the left post. Marcial Bastiaro made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Leopoldo Jatsu sent off a good shot on target. Leopoldo Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marcial Bastiaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Ceferino Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Marlboro FC's Leopoldo Jatsu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Leopoldo Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manos de Goma's zone, Leopoldo Jatsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Bastiaro came out of the goal and Leopoldo Jatsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Weibel's late challenge caught a Marlboro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Weibel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Marlboro FC booed when Manos de Goma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Weibel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Jatsu got free with Marcial Bastiaro in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Palos in the 80th minute of play forced Manos de Goma's goalkeeper Marcial Bastiaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes, Gonzalo Hernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manos de Goma and the Marlboro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute of the match, Leopoldo Jatsu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcial Bastiaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Serafino Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Marcial Bastiaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Palos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Manos de Goma lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
