Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Venancio Oier started the match with the kick off. Esteve Gentza was a little too slow when Filomeno Dalmau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Venancio Oier scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Gentza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Venancio Oier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 20th minute, C.A. Tigre's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Venancio Oier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Claudio Naldo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, C.A. Tigre's goalkeeper Esteve Gentza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Oier. After a rather tough play, C.A. Tigre's Camilo Hodei got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ingenieros Unidos's Filomeno Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Oier in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Gentza saved C.A. Tigre from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Filomeno Dalmau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ingenieros Unidos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Venancio Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Gentza having to interfere. Filomeno Dalmau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Esteve Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Venancio Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 69 minutes C.A. Tigre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicasio Hunfredo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Ingenieros Unidos's Venancio Oier getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ingenieros Unidos's Filomeno Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the C.A. Tigre defense, Venancio Oier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Gentza. The C.A. Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Gentza should have stopped the shot. Venancio Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Oier in the 84th minute of play forced C.A. Tigre's goalkeeper Esteve Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Venancio Oier notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of C.A. Tigre's Esteve Gentza. Esteve Gentza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 played minutes Ingenieros Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Hunfredo. Venancio Oier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Ingenieros Unidos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
