The Maria del Carmen fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Maria del Carmen's Eusebio Medero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With 19 minutes on the clock, Delmiro Raymon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Maria del Carmen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lavarello F.C:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lavarello F.C's zone, Amancio Porfirio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Luzea came out of the goal and Amancio Porfirio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Desiderio Valery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maria del Carmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Valery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Luzea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Luzea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Paul in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Lavarello F.C's Gonzalo Luzea got control of the ball when Ambrosio Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Medero in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Luzea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lavarello F.C were furious when Manuel Bernal was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lavarello F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Gonzalo Luzea, was totally fooled by Maria del Carmen's Eusebio Medero, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gonzalo Luzea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ambrosio Paul showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Medero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gonzalo Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Medero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Luzea having to make a save. Eusebio Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gonzalo Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lavarello F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Primeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Soter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Luzea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebio Medero's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Gonzalo Luzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Lavarello F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Franco to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Eusebio Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Luzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Desiderio Valery made a precise shot to the right of Gonzalo Luzea. Lavarello F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Bartolo Ponce hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maria del Carmen's goalkeeper Tobias Soter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maria del Carmen fully deserved thier win.
