Spectators: 7077 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elias Haitz started the match with the kick off. Elias Haitz struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Bartolo Quirze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Somiriver. Raul Txindoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bartolo Quirze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ensenadas's zone, Elias Haitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Quirze came out of the goal and Elias Haitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartolo Quirze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Porfirio in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Ensenadas's goalkeeper Bartolo Quirze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Elequemedo. Pastor Balendin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ensenadas's Bartolo Quirze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ensenadas from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Elias Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somiriver's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartolo Quirze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Denis Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Elias Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cecilio Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Ulizes having to interfere. Filiberto Ulizes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Somiriver getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Raul Txindoki hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Acevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Somiriver's Filiberto Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Acevedo in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Ensenadas got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Chap. In the 62nd minute, Cecilio Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Teodosio Porfirio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Somiriver fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Monico got free with Filiberto Ulizes in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Denis Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Bartolo Quirze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Haitz in the 82nd minute of play. Filiberto Ulizes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Monico in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Elpidio Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ensenadas's Bartolo Quirze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Haitz in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Somiriver were the better team. Somiriver's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
