In the 17th minute, Elpidio Elequemedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Somiriver fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Elias Haitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ariel Montes made a huge save. In the 24th minute Teodosio Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Román old boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Teodosio Porfirio scored to the left of an out of position Ariel Montes, making the score, 2-1. Ariel Montes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Román old boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Haitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 62 minutes into the match, Román old boys's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Porfirio came free, but Ariel Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Cayetano Iban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Somiriver's Filiberto Ulizes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Somiriver's Filiberto Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Iban in the 66th minute of play. Aamir Xacintu kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ariel Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Porfirio in the 68th minute of the match. 5-1 became the score in the 71st minute when Elias Haitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Somiriver players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
