Hugo Banegas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Israel Baladi's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Ruperto Orlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lavalle AFC's Hugo Banegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Shaqui FC's Ruperto Orlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Banegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Israel Baladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shaqui FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Baladi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Shaqui FC booed when Lavalle AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Argina didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Baladi in the 25th minute of play forced Lavalle AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Banegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Shaqui FC booed when Lavalle AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Primitivo Argider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lavalle AFC's Hugo Banegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Argider in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Lavalle AFC defense, Primitivo Argider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Banegas. The Lavalle AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Banegas should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Baladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Lavalle AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Banegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Jerardo. After a rather tough play, Shaqui FC's Ruperto Orlo got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Mikolas got free with Hugo Banegas in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60thth minute of the game Israel Baladi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lavalle AFC's Hugo Banegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Abelardo Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Shaqui FC's Israel Baladi in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hugo Banegas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Santxol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play. Israel Baladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Israel Baladi in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Banegas saved Lavalle AFC from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Primitivo Argider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shaqui FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. A collision led to Lavalle AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Godfredo Argina hit a great ball. Hugo Banegas came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Shaqui FC's Primitivo Argider. But to his dismay, Primitivo Argider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Hugo Banegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Orlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute Israel Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Banegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
