Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gaspar Rozarius made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rigby booed when boca juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Iyan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 林常默. Rigby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Rigby getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ramon Olando hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, 程渊 made a precise shot to the right of 林常默. Rigby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 81 minutes, Evaristo Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rigby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Iyan charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Iyan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to boca juniors getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Generoso Iyan hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Rigby's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Lore came free, but 林常默 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Tunbergs short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got 林常默 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 90 minutes of play, boca juniors's Patrik Tunberg made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 林常默 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 played minutes boca juniors got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Tunberg. 林常默 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Guerrero in the 97th minute of play.
