In the 4th minute, Igor Transito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isandro Alacuart in the 12th minute of play forced Argerich's goalkeeper Federico Bibiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Argerich getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Oliver Van Beylen hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Jacinto Ordono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rudolf Larsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Gerardo Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Argerich's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Isandro Alacuart scored to the left of an out of position Federico Bibiano, making the score, 1-1. Julian Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Bibiano having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Isandro Alacuart made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Argerich's Federico Bibiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fermin Ceandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isandro Alacuart in the 33rd minute of play forced Argerich's goalkeeper Federico Bibiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Niceto Urbasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Federico Bibiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerardo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Benicio Beat came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Argerich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Beat couldn't finish the play. Alvarez Balanta lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.

The wind increased when Gerardo Tipi made the kick off in the second half. Honorio Frederico kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Alejandro Noriega kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rudolf Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Beat, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 71st minute, Teofilo Orzaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Argerich booed when Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Noriega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Federico Bibiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Larsson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Gerardo Tipi sent off a good shot on target. When Benicio Beat came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Argerich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Beat couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Niceto Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Bibiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Beat in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolf Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th match minute, Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isandro Alacuart to maneuver through the defense. When Gerardo Tipi came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Argerich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Tipi couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Los Andes were the better team. Los Andes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
