The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fermin Dimo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Ivo van Dalfsen fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boston Celtics's protests and gave Ivo van Dalfsen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Boston Celtics's Ivo van Dalfsen got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 13th minute, Americo Sanchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Xabat was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jaime Xabat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Lizardi in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Americo Sanchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Xabat. C.F CABO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Americo Sanchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. C.F CABO's Jaime Xabat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save C.F CABO from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Nereo Mancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Jaime Xabat managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Boston Celtics's Mümtazer Hürsev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jaime Xabat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidro Lizardi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boston Celtics's Tiburcio Peter got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Sanchez got free with Jaime Xabat in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Jaime Xabat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidro Lizardi made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Isidro Lizardi put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jaime Xabat. C.F CABO's Jaime Xabat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mümtazer Hürsev in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, C.F CABO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Baristo to maneuver through the defense. C.F CABO's Rafael Eudoxio was substituted for Jonathan Bilintx. 58 minutes into the game, Boston Celtics's Isidro Lizardi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Xabat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 62 minutes into the game, Isidro Lizardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jaime Xabat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Boston Celtics fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Boston Celtics's Isidro Lizardi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jaime Xabat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mümtazer Hürsev in the 72nd minute of play. Alfredo Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Ado having to interfere. Jaime Xabat came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Boston Celtics's Isidro Lizardi. But to his dismay, Isidro Lizardi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Jaime Xabat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, C.F CABO's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Sanchez came free, but Jaime Xabat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Xabat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Sanchez in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.F CABO's zone, Mümtazer Hürsev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Xabat came out of the goal and Mümtazer Hürsev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Isidro Lizardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Xabat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boston Celtics's Hermengildo Cefero got a free kick in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Baristo in the 96th minute of play forced Boston Celtics's goalkeeper Ariel Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boston Celtics walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
