Luciano Manuelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Urdaspal came free, but Silvestre Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Urdaspal, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Luciano Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Chale in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Banfield's Jonatan Vergaray got a free kick in the 40th minute. Banfield's Casimiro Arias managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adrian Oxel in the 44 minute of the game.

In the 66th minute, Jonatan Vergaray made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Manuelo. la naranja mecanica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 69 minutes into the match, Roque Ibar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvestre Socorro, 3-2. Melquiades Urdaspal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvestre Socorro came out and tried to block the shot, but Melquiades Urdaspal slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 74th minute. Haroldo Vellito hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes, Arnoldo Berdoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the la naranja mecanica and the Banfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes la naranja mecanica got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Berdoi. Primitivo Chale struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Luciano Manuelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banfield. Jonatan Vergaray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luciano Manuelo having to make a save. If Primitivo Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
