In the 43rd minute of the match, Maciej Chuchro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fausto Furtado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Toro FC's Cristian Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Peyo in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Hernan Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Seber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Camilo Segio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fausto Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Republica De Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Fausto Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Toro FC had played much better football throughout.
