After 20 minutes of play, Defensa y Justicia's Eugen Wilke made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Semeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonzalo Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Julio Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Cutberto during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Zapa FC got a freekick which was hit by Benito Cutberto. Eugen Wilke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Semeno having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zapa FC's Elias Joachim got a free kick in the 39th minute. Romeo Clis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jaime Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42ndth minute of the game Eugen Wilke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zapa FC's Jaime Semeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Eugen Wilke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Semeno was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Eugen Wilke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Defensa y Justicia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugen Wilke was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Wilke, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jaime Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Urbez in the 54th minute of the match. Zapa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Eugen Wilke scored to the left of an out of position Jaime Semeno, making the score, 0-3. Julio Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zapa FC's Jaime Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Wilke in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Zapa FC defense, Jeremias Urbez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Semeno. The Zapa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Semeno should have stopped the shot. Jaime Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Wilke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Urbez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Semeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Defensa y Justicia played a much better game than Zapa FC and deserved their victory. The Zapa FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
