Benito Cutberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Feliu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Cutberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Guaberto Valerio's shot from long distance in the 10th minute was not bad at all, but Club Atletico Hormiguero's Samuel Feliu knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 11th minute, Astor Berriotxoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Benito Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzalo Valery's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Hormiguero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Valery helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zapa FC's Gonzalo Valery got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jaime Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Dalmai in the 31st minute of the match. Silvano Artaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Astor Berriotxoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Cutberto was the one to do the kick off. Zapa FC's Jaime Semeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Zapa FC from getting a goal against them. Samuel Feliu came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zapa FC's Benito Cutberto. But to his dismay, Benito Cutberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Club Atletico Hormiguero's Samuel Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Cutberto in the 68th minute of play. Feliciano Dalmai charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Dalmai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Club Atletico Hormiguero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Dalmai in the 75th minute of play. Roberto Leoiar kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Ubaldo Tartalo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Hormiguero getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Astor Berriotxoa hit a great ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapa FC's goalkeeper Jaime Semeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute Ubaldo Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zapa FC had won after a very even match.
