Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Sazon started the match with the kick off. Deportes Villa Bosch's attentive Honorato Sugar managed to snatch the ball when Jose Isias made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Mario Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportes Villa Bosch's Honorato Sugar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jose Isias, made in the 13th minute of the game. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportes Villa Bosch's goalkeeper Hilario Rosario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Juan Frans threw the ball into play from the sideline. Palominos FC's Reynaldo Chap quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ernesto Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Sazon in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Celipe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Mario Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes Palominos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Urbano Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Maximino Primeiro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 42nd minute of the match, Mario Sazon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robustiano Celipe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Gonchan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Palominos FC's Antonio Cordarrell managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Frans in the 56 minute of the game. In the 61st minute Mario Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Sazon scored 1-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robustiano Celipe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Isias charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Isias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Sazon in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Celipe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Frans during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportes Villa Bosch getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Juan Frans hit a great ball. Hilario Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Gonchan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hilario Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th play minute Ernesto Veremundo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hilario Rosario. 1-1. If Osvaldo Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Mario Sazon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Robustiano Celipe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Palominos FC's Roberto Merexildo got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Mario Sazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportes Villa Bosch walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
