The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Julio Mattin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patricio Gonsalve. Julio Mattin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Premium FC's Patricio Gonsalve got control of the ball when Teofilo Blasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, one of Premium FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Premium FC. Patricio Gonsalve went to the wrong direction when Arvid Tingelholm was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Yatai AFC booed when Premium FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Gonsalve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Mattin in the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Premium FC's Patricio Gonsalve got control of the ball when Julio Mattin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaac Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Adan Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Selatse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adan Pero having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Gavino Lesardo made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Gonsalve. Premium FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Leo Tristan came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Yatai AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Tristan couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Julio Mattin took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Patricio Gonsalve to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Yatai AFC's Luis Gaur got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Yatai AFC booed when Premium FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Marcelo Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Lesardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernd Gall, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Teofilo Blasco scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Gonsalve, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernd Gall in the 79th minute of play. Patricio Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Mattin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Isaac Selatse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adan Pero. Yatai AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Selatse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Isaac Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yatai AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
