With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Kelemen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geronimo Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Albino Orixe kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Maximiliano Enaut came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Enaut couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Maximiliano Enaut hit a great ball. With his leg Bryan Sledge managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Profundidad FC's Albino Orixe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Racing Club's Bryan Sledge got control of the ball when Albino Orixe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albino Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bryan Sledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48thth minute of the game Maximiliano Enaut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Profundidad FC's Cesar Kelemen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Enaut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Profundidad FC's Aquilino Ted quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gustavo Benvido, made in the 82nd minute of the game. When Eleuterio Obano fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Eleuterio Obano a yellow card for diving instead. Aquilino Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Sledge having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Adriana Iliana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Adriana Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Profundidad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriana Iliana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 minutes, Adriana Iliana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Profundidad FC and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximiliano Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Kelemen having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Cesar Kelemen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Racing Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
