Clodoveo Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leo Furman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Heinz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Profundidad FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albino Orixe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Heinz's Boris Nyman. 0-2. Albino Orixe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Denis Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Profundidad FC's Albino Orixe in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Profundidad FC's Lisandro Bazkoare got a free kick in the 38th minute. After the first half Profundidad FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Orixe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriana Iliana in the 54th minute of play forced FC Heinz's goalkeeper Boris Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Raymon struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cesar Kelemen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Heinz. A nice corner shot did that Albino Orixe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Boris Nyman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 66th minute, Pastor Remir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Ted in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boris Nyman saved FC Heinz from getting behind. The supporters of Profundidad FC booed when FC Heinz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastor Remir hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Itzaina during the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Celio in the 91st minute of play forced Profundidad FC's goalkeeper Cesar Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Bonifacio Celio made a precise shot to the right of Cesar Kelemen. Profundidad FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
