Joel Jerico took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hakkı Kenan İrem. Hakkı Kenan İrem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carlos Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Lain having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Nehuen FC's Carlos Galtero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilfredo Lain. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. In the 19th minute, Romulo Damario reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilfredo Lain. The goal made the score 3-1. Hakkı Kenan İrem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Fagondo in the 24th minute of play. Esteban Fagondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Kenan İrem having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Joel Jerico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hakkı Kenan İrem. Nehuen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Jerico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Joel Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Esteban Fagondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luján AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 39 minutes into the match, Luján AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Damario came free, but Wilfredo Lain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Lain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Dimo in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute, Joel Jerico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hakkı Kenan İrem. The goal made the score 3-4. Joel Jerico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hakkı Kenan İrem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Wilfredo Lain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Galtero, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Carlos Galtero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Wilfredo Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Dimo in the 63rd minute of play forced Luján AFC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Luján AFC's Enrique Edorta got a free kick in the 64th minute. Nehuen FC's Carlos Galtero got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakkı Kenan İrem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Jerico went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. Nehuen FC's Hakkı Kenan İrem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Nehuen FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Nehuen FC's Carlos Galtero got a free kick in the 77th minute. Joel Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Galtero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romulo Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Lain having to interfere. When Gustavo Pes fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nehuen FC's protests and gave Gustavo Pes a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Luján AFC a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Danilo Manex, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nehuen FC's Hakkı Kenan İrem. 3-7. The Luján AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
