The Potrerillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Lopez should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Luján AFC's zone, Isidoro Hermon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Lain came out of the goal and Isidoro Hermon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Isidoro Hermon came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Potrerillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Hermon couldn't finish the play. Luján AFC's Wilfredo Lain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Bizen in the 74th minute of play. Honorato Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Isidoro Hermon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Lain having to make a save. Honorato Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Fagondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
