Freddy Frascuelo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Racing pasion inexplicabl's zone, Freddy Frascuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Uzuri came out of the goal and Freddy Frascuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Jacindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Primitivo Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Ovidio Xabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Misael came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jairo Uzuri could save by the left post. Pablo Cordaro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Freddy Frascuelo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the La Habana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Frascuelo couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, La Habana FC's Freddy Frascuelo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jairo Uzuri made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Mateo Misael sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Xabel in the 41st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Frascuelo was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Racing pasion inexplicabl! Ovidio Xabel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ovidio Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Bastian having to interfere. Ovidio Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Uzuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Misael in the 69th minute of the match. Jairo Uzuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Pablo Cordaro got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 81st match minute, Racing pasion inexplicabl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Uzuri came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Habana FC's Mateo Misael. But to his dismay, Mateo Misael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Arsenio Quintan's late challenge caught a La Habana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Quintan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Racing pasion inexplicabl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Quintan to maneuver through the defense. La Habana FC's Mateo Misael got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Freddy Frascuelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Habana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Racing pasion inexplicabl's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
