Primitivo Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Benjamim Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matute.A .C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Primitivo Aguirre scored to the left of an out of position Benjamim Fonseca, making the score, 2-0. Matute.A .C.'s attentive Vinicio Nesto managed to snatch the ball when Cosme Toli made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Bernardino Salvidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Salvidor in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Erdiano saved Samborombón FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Matute.A .C.'s Benjamim Fonseca got control of the ball when Jairo Iratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Samborombón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Salvidor came free, but Gervasio Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Matute.A .C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Aguirre came free, but Benjamim Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nicolas Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Salvidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Erdiano was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When Rafael Virila fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samborombón FC's protests and gave Rafael Virila a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Samborombón FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Virila. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Edelmiro Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gervasio Erdiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardino Salvidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Erdiano made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Bernardino Salvidor sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Nicolas Teofilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samborombón FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matute.A .C. the free kick. Benjamim Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Iratze in the 83rd minute of the match. Bernardino Salvidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Erdiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Salvidor ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Iratze scored 3-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamim Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jairo Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Primitivo Aguirre came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Samborombón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Aguirre couldn't finish the play. The Samborombón FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
