Angel Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Lucero got free with Bernabe Vidal in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisito Illart hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Esteban Montez put in a rough tackle. Esteban Montez hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Marcial Lucero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernabe Vidal was a little too slow when Izydor Golaszewski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Palmo Maravilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Bikendi to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Palmo Maravilla FC booed when Atlanta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palmo Maravilla FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Atlanta FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisito Illart took the corner. Palmo Maravilla FC's Luisito Illart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernabe Vidal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Cesar Orlandus fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlanta FC's protests and gave Cesar Orlandus a yellow card for diving instead. Cesar Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Marcial Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bernabe Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlanta FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Luisito Illart scored to the left of an out of position Bernabe Vidal, making the score, 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Salvador Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernabe Vidal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Lucero in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Ulises Quinteros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernabe Vidal, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Tximitx made a kick off. 63 minutes into the game, Linus Strömberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmo Maravilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlanta FC the free kick. Linus Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Cesar Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Atlanta FC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Tiadoro. After some careless play in the Atlanta FC defense, Marcial Lucero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe Vidal. The Atlanta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabe Vidal should have stopped the shot. When Augusto Tximitx came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Atlanta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Tximitx couldn't finish the play. Angel Clementi made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Augusto Tximitx sent off a good shot on target. Angel Clementi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Tximitx in the 84th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Palmo Maravilla FC's Marcial Lucero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
